Its gives me plenty of time to bake for breakfastinthe weekends. I'm an early waker these days and have more energy inthemorning than any other time of day
I've long since given up the simultaneous preparation of breakfast and lunch. We are heading to the lake and will have in our company some folks who are notoriously late sleepers
The good thing about thesebreakfast puds (apart from havingpudding for breakfast. ) is that you can make them up the night before and they are ready to eat inthemorning with no additional prep
It is jam packed with blueberries, so it is probably best served when the berries are in season. This is a perfect coffee cake to make when you are pressed for time, but still want to serve your family and friends something that is special

I had a sweet little find on Trademe, four lovely little 1991 Strawberry Shortcake dolls, not complete, and needing some tlc, so one of those fun finds. Still true to the 1980s design, I love that these girls have really long hair, and the faces are still quite sweet

My lemon curd just shows up regularly at breakfast time, slathered on top of crumpets, or afternoon snacks of big spoonfuls just scooped straight out of the jar
