Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup desiccated coconut
  • 125 g butter
  • 2 tablespoons golden syrup
  • 1 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 10-12 min or until the edges start to brown. Allow to cool slightly on the tray before transferring to a wire rack to cool, or of course enjoy while still warm.
