Just healthy macadamia nuts, coconut threads & oil, cocoa and a few tasty dates. • With damp hands roll large spoonfuls into balls (it helps to squish the together in the palm of your hands)
I love that you can blend whatever you have handy (in my case an overload of cranberries) with a few nuts, mould it into balls, coat them in coconut and suddenly you have these gorgeous sweet bliss ball snacks
Add the extra coconut in an bowl then roll the balls in the coconut to coat. The texture reminds me of white chocolate, with a coconutty texture, then spiked with lemon
I thought up the recipe for this CocoNut Cranberry Fudge (aka. White Chocolate Fudge with Coconut, Cranberries and Macadamia Nuts – just thought it was a little bit too long of a title) a wee while ago and finally got around to making it
Add the coconut flour and chia seeds and mix through. Spoon batter into the tin – at this stage you can decorate the bread with flaked coconut of sliced banana before baking
I've long since given up the simultaneous preparation of breakfast and lunch. That means our bed heads will be pouring their own juice and grabbing a breakfast pastry while the rest of us are enjoying a hearty soup and sandwich for lunch
Add the dates (drain the water off into the sink), cranberries, coconut, coconut oil, cinnamon, cocoa powder and vanilla and blend until evenly incorporated
If desired you could roll in chocolate hail or coconut but they are equally nice without a coating. I have since seen Bliss Balls displayed on a couple of cafe counters
Every morning we have the same breakfast, boiled eggs and toast. My special secret is to toast the oats in organic coconut oil, not only for the health benefits but it gives it a beautiful nutty coconut flavor
