Ingredients

  • 3 lemons (She never says what size, so I assume medium - that seems to work)
  • a lemon zester which produces long thin strips, rather than finely grated zest
  • 2 cups granulated white sugar
  • 2/3 cup of water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A small saucepan
  • 2 eggs (again, she never mentions size - size 7 is fine.)
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • large mixing bowl
