The first memory that comes to mind when I mention PeanutBrownies, is that of mums baking. To tell you the truth I haven’t eaten a Peanut Brownie for a very long time, and I have hardly made them as well, but I really felt I had to recreate this classic recipe, from the classic cookbook that nearly every New Zealander owns, which is the Edmonds cookbook
Do this after you have added the peanuts. Add the peanuts. Mix well ( if you are doing this in the mixer you don't want to do this for much or it will break all the peanuts up) and roll into balls (about a TBSP of mixture)
I love peanuts. In fact most mornings I have Vogel toast with peanut butter and honey on it. (The iconic NZ cookbook - for those non kiwis) I have a handful of my favourites that I often make and below is one of them 'the peanut brownie'
Many moons ago I worked at a buzzing Ponsonby Road restaurant called One Red Dog. I had moved to the bright lights of Auckland to attend Uni from the middle of nowhere (I spent my teenage years living 10kms up a winding valley road smack bang between Blenheim & Nelson) and needed a job to pay my board
I undercooked them ever so slightly so that there was a lovely soft peanut butter filling. In a large bowl, add the peanut butter, bananas, eggs, baking powder and vinegar
Brownies. Brownies always work. And tomorrow these brownies will be packed up and taken to the zoo for a pre-christmas christmas picnic, in what will hopefully be another warm, rain-free spring day
I choose to bake another recipe using peanut butter since I want to finish the smooth peanut butter. A big fan of peanut butter I am but when it comes to peanut butter sandwich
The post Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch Recipe appeared first on Nutrition Revival. 1/2 cup peanut butter (or any nut butter would be nice). 1/2 cup peanut butter
