I've brought a little bit of rye flour recently and it adds a really nice nutty and almost malty taste to bread, it worked really well with pork and grilled apple slices on our burgers this evening

The jam is kind of like a sweet chilli sauce. Pour chilli jam into the jars while hot. 4 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped1 tablespoon ginger, peeled and chopped 3 fresh chillies, chopped1 teaspoon cumin seeds1 teaspoon brown mustard seeds50 ml red wine vinegar500g tomatoes, chopped fresh or tinned 1 tablespoon fish sauce (I used vegetarian oyster sauce) 75g brown sugar or palm sugar1/2 tablespoon turmeric powderA handful of coriander, choppedGrind the garlic, ginger, chillies, cumin, mustard seeds and red wine vinegar into a paste in a blender. 3 fresh chillies

The end result was just as I had imagined, a light meatiness with a touch of zing from the chilli and lemon, with the fresh basil rounding it off nicely
