I always take the skin off chicken cooked in the slowcooker now, it lets the flavours get in and also cuts down the amount of fat in the dish - so it's more appealing visually, and it's better for us
We ate the chicken on rice with the sauce over the top for dinner that night and had the left overs, just as cold drumsticks (no sauce) with salad the next day for lunch at work - nice
as I write, see that I have modified the above recipe (unwittingly), because I have not put any Wine into the slowcooker (I don’t have any), in fact I ditched the slowcooker altogether, my legs have skin on them and I don’t want to boil my skin
