The coconut sauce was epic and I’m glad they served a little sticky rice on the side. Chef Glen was ready for us and Bri and I shared Taste’s first serving of Karitane crayfish

Christmas seafood platter

Serve with small bowls of the dipping sauces. Place the cooked crayfish, prawns, oysters and lemons on top of the ice

Make the sauce, butter, flour and milk, cook until thickened. Add the sauce to the seafood. Make the pancakes/crepes and roll up individual serves with seafood & sauce in the centre of the pancake/crepe

Spread a thick layer of the sauce on each toast. Dill for garnish. Put sliced avocado and then crayfish/prawns on top
